American Ambulance is proud to announce the first Critical Care Paramedic training course in the Central Valley. Approved by CCEMSA, this course is designed to meet the State of California Critical Care Paramedic one hundred hour didactic course requirement. This program has been designed to prepare paramedics to meet the growing need for qualified Critical Care Paramedics in the area of critical care inter-facility transport. Local experts in Critical Care medicine and speciality transport will guest lecture throughout the course, including the American Ambulance Medical Director: Dr. Danielle Campagne.
Throughout this course, Critical Care Paramedic students can expect to learn:
• Airway and Ventilator Management
• Hemodynamic Monitoring
• Advanced Pharmacology
• Infusion monitoring
• Advanced Medical/Trauma Pathologies and much more!
Students will be challenged with hands-on skills practice through the use of high fidelity mannequins and equipment to include ventilators and infusion pumps. By course completion, CCP students will be ready to sit for the IBSC CCP-C certification exam to become board certified Critical Care Paramedics.
**Note: To be considered for local accreditation as a CCT Paramedic, paramedics must have 3 years of paramedic experience, complete 100 hours of clinical training, and work for an agency that is approved by CCEMSA as a CCT transport provider.

Eligibility
- Valid Paramedic License
- 3 years of experience as a Paramedic
- A laptop, tablet or other device that allows for online coursework and participation
2025 Class Dates
● Tuesday, March 4th, 2025 through Thursday, April 24th, 2025.
● Course sessions are Tuesday and Thursday each week.
● Each session will begin at 0800 and run through 1700.
● Class will be held at 555 N Halifax, Clovis, CA, 93637.
● All class sessions are in-person, attendance is required to all sessions.
